About Me

My photo
Art Warm Wind
Almost six years ago, Jelena Rusina started painting in the studio of by Kaspars Zarins. At different times, took lessons in painting from the artists: Gregory Lalayan, Nikolai Uvarov, Vitaly Ermolaev. Jelena gets inspiration from contemplation of nature, or listening to music, both classical and spiritual. Occasionally , rock compositions give her that impulse to create. Two years ago Jelena Rusina started with a new hobby - nanofelting. This is felting of wool to silk. As Jelena says - "It intrigued and fascinated her with new possibilities of expressing her art ideas." After getting in touch with a person she can sense and visualize the colours and tones, which reflect the personality. Some time ago she started with a new hobby -painting on silk. Jelena completed a course at the School of Practical Design, to supplement her knowledge of the classical disciplines of color theory, composition and so on.
